Professional Background

As a Registered Dietitian, I have supported individuals across multiple practice settings, including clinical care, outpatient services, public health, and private consulting.

Much of my work has centered on supporting families with children of all ages who require guidance to meet their nutrient needs. My role includes providing individualized nutrition assessment, supporting gradual, sustainable changes in food choice and intake pattern, and parent support and education.

During my tenure at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), I was employed through the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, Education, Research, and Services (UCEDD). Through this program, I delivered nutrition services across several CHLA clinics. I also became a California Children's Services (CCS) paneled dietitian and provided care within Medical Therapy Units (MTUs) throughout Los Angeles County.

In addition, I participated in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program at CHLA. LEND is an interdisciplinary training initiative that brings together health professionals and graduate-level trainees to deepen understanding and improve services for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences.

More recently, I have expanded my practice to include support for adults as they address issues related to weight management, changes in metabolism, and shifts in nutrition recommendations that come with aging.
